Meet Dr. Steve Kim

Dr. Steve Kim, DDS, is dedicated to providing exceptional, technology-driven dentistry with a focus on comprehensive & personalized care. A UC Berkeley graduate in molecular cell biology, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California & has been practicing in Sacramento since 2001.

Dr. Kim has a special interest in dental implants & advanced dentistry. He continues his education through postgraduate training & serves as a hands-on implant surgery instructor with the Advanced Dental Implant Research & Education Center (AIC) & Global Dental Implant Academy (GDIA), sharing his expertise with fellow dentists.

As an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association & Sacramento District Dental Society, Dr. Kim is also committed to giving back through programs such as Smiles for Kids.

At Northridge Dental Group, Dr. Kim combines advanced technology, patient education & a strong emphasis on comfort—including sedation options for anxious patients or those undergoing extensive treatment.

Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with family & friends, discovering new restaurants, & improving his golf game.

I was a teenager at that time and I happily continue to have my dental needs handled by the team. Not only do they have an amazing doctor in Dr. Kim, but the entire staff has passion to be more than a dental service. They have always been supportive, loving, and caring. It shows with every visit and I always leave very thankful my family found them, allowing me to have an amazing dental team for so many years. My review would not be complete if I didn’t shout out Laurie who has been with my family the whole way and watched me grow through the years. She has always been wonderful to work with and ensures all my needs are addressed. I cannot express enough how well the entire staff has handled my dental needs through the years, as well as making a lasting impression on me and my family.

A GREAT COMPANY. Have been with a lot of these wonderful.people for 5 generations.   Always feel welcome and cared for by all of the staff!! I do have FAVORITES but I think all are knowledgeable!   I would advise anyone looking for a great dental practice to make an appt!! Love these Ladies and Gents! I look forward to every 6 mths ..I think I'm gonna get cleaned every 4 mos just to visit!!❤️

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My entire family and I have been going to Dr Kim for YEARS. They are all amazing, professional and make you feel at ease. Dr Kim is super calm and patient, but a complete professional and very confident. I can assure you he is literally THE best dentist and that he will always give you options on treatment. If you want to go a different route than what he first recommends. All the assistants are wonderful and Lori in the front office is amazing! I had a really traumatic experience with my childhood dentist and my dentist after was good, but no Dr Kim! I’ve also had extensive work done due to weak enamel, so I’ve had root canals, fillings… everything. And even the root canals are a breeze. I’ve even had him able to get me numb on a tooth where I normally was referred to an endodontist- which can be pricey.  If you fear the dentist, this is the best place you could go. Dr Kim has this technique when he administers the numbing agent in which you literally will have zero to very, very minimal pain. I’d say 95% of the time you literally cannot feel a thing except something pressing against the injection site. Anyone I have ever sent to him has been beyond impressed and becomes a permanent patient. Obviously I’m Dr Kim’s biggest fan (lol) but it’s for a good reason and I absolutely recommend him whenever I have a chance! Thank you Dr Kim (and Staff)!!!
